Media: The Bronx: “Ribcage”

The Bronx have posted the first song from their upcoming album, IV. The record was recently pushed back to a February 4, 2013 and is the first album from the band since The Bronx (III) in 2008.

i hate to be the negative one, but i was really hoping that they would go back to the sound they had on the first two albums, or the Bats EP. I'll pick up the album at any rate. I love me some bronx!

I'd agree with that... they're one of my absolute favorites, but this song has none of the aggressiveness or edge that their stuff typically has. It's borderline poppy... I hope the rest of the album has a little more tooth to it.

i really loved this band but wasnt too impressed by III. hopefully im proven wrong and the rest of the album is as good as the first two.

Remember this is the single so it is bound to be a little bit more poppy. I agree this stream sounds like shit though (hopefully the album sounds better!)

Personally I always found the Bronx mixed melody with aggression perfectly so I am still expecting this record to be 100% amazing.
