Gloom masters Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have announced their fifteenth studio album, Push the Sky Away. The album is set to be released on February 18, 2013 in Europe, with a North American release date to be announced. This will be the band's first full-length since 2008's Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!, though Cave has kept busy with Grinderman, as well as some film work.
Shane Macgowan is cooler, but yes Nick Cave is cool. And they're friends. Whenever they are in the same room together, there is a coolness overload only the pure of hearth can endure.
listen to Henry's Dream and Tender Prey and The Good Son and The Boatman's Call and Dig Lazarus Dig and Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus. They're all awesome.
Nick Cave is probably one of the top-5 coolest motherfuckers living today.
