Bad Religion, members of Black Flag, and more to play Punk Rock Bowling

Some of the headliners for the 15th annual Punk Rock Bowling weekend have been announced. The non-bowling related portion of the weekend will include performances from Bad Religion, The Damned, D.R.I., Lagwagon, Subhumans, Swingin' Utters, Bouncing Souls, Lower Class Brats and Flag, which is Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton playing the music of Black Flag.

Punk Rock Bowling takes place May 25th through 27th in Las Vegas, NV. Weekend passes go on sale on January 29th.

i'll be heading out to celebrate my 30th birthday. super psyched on the lineup for now, but hoping some newer / younger bands get added as well.

There are at least 8-10 per day on the festival shows, so more will be added to that. Then the club shows, averaging 4 bands per club and at least 3-4 clubs per night, so more will be added there as well.....(not including the pool parties).

Are ticket quantities usually pretty limited? I'm never willing to make the trip to the west coast, but I'm always curious about how easy it is to get into a bowling alley filled with all our favorite punk rockers.

Its very easy and yes tickets are limited tnat why u go to the website and buy them in advance .prb is so much fun and always such grest bands .the late night club shows are the best part .ill be there . I went for my hunnymoon now we go for are anniversary .flights are cheap and do a little reasearch about freemont street and you can save tons of money .also if u have questions about Vegas email the guys at the punks in Vegas sight they helped me alot my first year .from what cabs to take to were to get a cheap ass meal at 4am the important stuff

The festival area holds 5k people but its empty ish till the headliners ,at least the years ive gone ,and the late night shows which is the reason I go .are pretty small id say under 500 people each venue I cant say for beauty bar but the other venues seemed about that size .its so much fun

Just saw a review of the new Dropkick that stated that their last album was a "concept album about a fictional Irish-American immigrant.". Isn't that EVERY Dropkick album, ever?

Yeah, it's not like he's doing anything insanely different to Circle Jerks or whatever for him to need to do a Black Flag set. It'd be interesting if it was Ron or Dez singing.

I dunno, Keith is the only one who's still an active member of an active band, y'know? I suspect it'll be a better show with him at the helm, but maybe not.

Also, it's funny that Ginn has become the odd man out as far as 'Flag members go. He's too much of a burnt-out crazy cat person - I saw some footage of him playing at that "reunion" like a decade ago and he sucked. He's been spending too much time noodling around in shitty side projects.

I saw an interview with him recently and my god that dude is burned out and totally not 100% there. Sad too because he is such a good guitarist.

Even though Ginn was important, I think an actual reunion with him would be awful. I remember reading somewhere that they actually started practicing for a reunion once, and as soon as they launched into Nervous Breakdown Ginn was like, "no way, this is way too fast. I originally wanted this song to be way slower and everyone's fucked it up since."

Does anyone know if the wristband (or whatever) gets you into the clubs shows are do those have a separate cost?

The three-day festival pass only gets you into the day shows. For the club shows, there are usually four going on simultaneously and each one requires it's own ticket.
