Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins to star in silent Western

Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins to star in silent Western
by Aubin Paul Movies and Documentaries 10 years ago

Iggy Pop and Henry Rollins will star in a new silent film called Gutterdämmerung . Subtitled "The Loudest Silent Movie On Earth," the feature is being directed by photographer and video director Björn Tagemose.

Rollins say the aim is for the film to be accompanied by a live band, similarly to how period films uses a live pianist to back silent films before that whole "talkie" thing happened.

The announcement also describe Iggy Pop as "a horned punk rock angel" named Vicious. Another 12 "epic rock stars" are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
