"Sometime back, Punknews.org posted a MP3 of the week from the Iowa based band Faultlines. They have now signed with a small label out of Chicago called Action Heights Records. The band will enter the studio in December with Mike Lust (Ten Grand, Will Whitemore) to release their still to be titled debut. Suspect to see it out in late winter of 2004."

Is this the same Mike Lust that used to be in Lustre King? They kicked some serious ass. --Bing Crosby 1+ Reply

Drew Bixby, who plays guitar for Faultlines, writes for my school's paper, The Daily Iowan. He writes some very sweet and often humorous articles, and sometimes he submits stuff that I'm sure was actually written by a 14 year old girl. But he's awesome either way, and Faultlines is a great band. Brian, the bass player told my brother the other day that they're really just trying to rip off Cursive as much as possible right now. I guess they could do worse. 2+ Replies
