Borderlines formed in 2012 by three members of the pop punk band The Leftovers. Scattered between Portland, ME and Los Angeles, CA they spend most of their limited time together quoting ghostbusters and drinking beers, but still manage to write and record. Having played nearly 500 shows in over a dozen countries as The Leftovers, they are no strangers to the inner workings of jaded (and-some-not-so-jaded) scenes. Borderlines enjoy bands like the Descendents, Copyrights, Dopamines, Dear Landlord, Teenage Bottlerocket, Menzingers, Accelerators, Bouncing Souls, to name a few, and all the bands who influenced them. Sometimes the drummer plays for pop punk's top AARP members The Queers. Thanks to the common conveniences of modern technology, living on separate coasts does not keep the guys from writing, recording, and touring. Lack of time and money does. But still Borderlines is kind of a band that you will hopefully dig. Their first six song EP "Magical Paths To Fortune And Power" will be available September 25th, 2012 via Insubordination Records
