Bright Eyes

Average Rating:

Hometown: Omaha, NE (USA)

About:

Bright Eyes was formed in 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska. Its members consist of Conor Oberst and an cast of backing musicians.

Though the band performed a mixture of rock, acoustic and folk country, both the lyrical and emotional nature of the music have endeared the band to the emo crowd, while Oberst's fiercely independent and DIY ethics have gained some grudging respect within the punk rock community.
