Mayday Parade is a rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Before choosing the name Mayday Parade (Alex did not like this name before) they were known as “The Keepsake Summer.” Their first EP “Tales Told By Dead Friends” was basically just a collection of demo songs. However, this would not stop these fashion-rockers from making a name for themselves. They jumped in a van and independently sold 20,000+ copies of their EP on Warped Tour. They got signed. Mayday Parade is a rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Before choosing the name Mayday Parade (Alex did not like this name before) they were known as “The Keepsake Summer.” Their first EP “Tales Told By Dead Friends” was basically just a collection of demo songs. However, this would not stop these fashion-rockers from making a name for themselves. They jumped in a van and independently sold 20,000+ copies of their EP on Warped Tour. They got signed. Jason quit the band to get married. They released “A Lesson in Romantics.” They toured Japan and Australia and are about to star in the Give It A Name Festival in the UK.
