Ottawa, Ontario's Million Dollar Marxists carry on a tradition of punk rock'n'roll that started with the Stooges and was carried through to their forefathers in the Pagans and New Bomb Turks. The band's sound touches on the classic Detroit and New York rock scenes, landing them a deal with the likeminded Gearhead Records for their 2004 album Give It A Name.
M$M consists of bassist Johnny Genome, vocalist Luke Nuclear, drummer Timmy Two Times and guitarists U. Lee Mobile and Steve Salmonella.
