Modern Life Is War is an Iowa-based hardcore band influenced by the likes of Black Flag and other similar early `80s hardcore bands. The band's releases include a self-released, self-titled 7", the Martyr-released My Love, My Way, and Deathwish-released zine favorite Witness.
