Mouthwash are a ska-punk band, originally formed in West Norwood, London, England, in 1995. Mouthwash originally formed as a three-piece band consisting of Ben McCarthy (vocals/bass guitar), Rob Tortelli (guitar) and Chris Hugall (drums). They played their first gig in early 1997 in a South London record store called Shake Some Action.
