The label founded by Vandals bassist Joe Escalante originally started in order for them to release a record from Assorted Jelly Beans. Since then the label has released high profile releases from The Ataris as well as becoming the home for the The Vandals.

The band will be reuniting at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL on August 21st. The band reunited last December for a charity event and before that in 2006. They split up the first time in 2002. According to the group's MySpace page, Assorted Jellybeans were the reason that Joe and Warren from The Vandals started Kung Fu records. Drummer Richard Falomir went on to become The Aquabats’ drummer, with the alias Ricky Fitness. No future plans have been laid out so far, so keep checking for more…Rarities album from The Vandals The Vandals will be releasing a rarities album on August 12.
