The Militia Group was founded by Chad Pearson and Rory Felton The label burst onto the scene in 2001 with the release of Perhaps, I Suppose by pop-punk upstarts Rufio.
The Militia Group has put out records by Noise Ratchet [who has since signed to American], The Beautiful Mistake, Copeland, and more. Most recently, the label signed away long time Deep Elm flag-wavers Brandtson.

After taking the summer off touring, Brandtson have set a title and release date for the upcoming follow up to Hello, Control. The new record looks to be titled Turn Me On Dead Man and is due out July 08, 2008.
