The ClashThe Singles (1991)The Clash Reviewer Rating: User Rating: Contributed by: Jocky Fa (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on April 9th 2001 If, like me, all your Clash is on Vinyl, this CD is the perfect way to get the music in the car or on the hard drive. Although not all the greats are on here, it's a pretty good gathering of what defines the Clash. Five years of unparalleled political commentary laced over some classic riffs. Who doesn't love the anthem of London Calling, and the straight-ahead masterpeiece of Should I Stay or Should I Go? If you are just a new skool punk, looking for some roots, might as well start here...in the middle of Hitsville, UK. Classic...simply classic Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
I love it. I bet know one here knows as much as I do about the clash...any one wanna try me? this cd is pretty good, but if your looking for a cool collection i prefer 'the story of the clash', the 2-cd(or lp) set. the clash is one of the best bands ever. Hell buy the clash's first album before you buy anything else from them it's the album that got me hooked to them and i'm glad i bought that album first due to the cover if the cd i knew that it was gonna be THE BEST BAND THAT I WOULD HAD EVER HEARD!!! like jockey said - its the perfect way to start of your old skool collection. I got this out from our local library, and it got me into now i have a tonne by the clash and the cure. So for anyone out there who is border line to getting it - i say get it. its the clash |
