All right then, where to begin when reviewing a show by the all mighty band ALL. This was the Owned and Operated tour, which featured bands on the record label that the members of ALL. I think I would like to say thanks for the club in Freeport, IL that due to insurance problems had to cancel on ALL the day before the show, and thus left them with an open spot on their tour. Instead of taking it off, the punk music machine that is all booked a show in Springfield, IL the night before, playing for $2 bucks a person at a small club that usually only has local bands play. On a personal note, it was weird going back to this club, I spent most of my high school years going to shows their and knew or at least recognized most of the people there, that wasn't the case tonight. For most of the show I think I saw only about 6 people I actually knew, part of this is most of the people my age have either moved away or already headed back to school. ALL is the greatest pop-punk band to surface this planet. They are pure talent, nothin' more nothin' less. The energy that they give off when they play live is like no other. You need to see them live before they hang it up. You won't regret it, but if you do miss then or never get the chance on seeing them, then that will be something that will be regretable for the rest of your life!!! Honestly, check them out! Fuck that bitch Moldy, you'll do better. were on a break right now, umm i really dont want to talk about this on a message board, call me or come over sometime. Sorry folks, I'm not emo so i wont bore everyone w/ the details. Moldy- Great review! You really have a talent for this stuff that is extremely admirable. And hey, guess what? If you really knew what was best for you, you would get back together with that extra special someone! Housewrecker, I could not agree more. I think that ALL is the most underrated band EVER. Why is it that the Descendents are still huge and All only draws medium sized crowds? They are both great bands. I agree that Milo ruled but Dave, Scott and Chad were all mighty singers too. I think that people get too wrapped up in this "Descendents are part of punk history" stuff - why be so nostalgic when ALL are playing amazing shows right now that will be part of history in 10 years. Don't get me wrong, I love the Descendents as well, but I think that people should support the band regardless of what moniker they are going by. Bonus Bonus. thats exactly what i meant, that the songs were from the album "Problematic" not the song I think he was just saying that they played some songs off of Problematic, not the song itself... Sounds like a lot of fun. I always liked the Descendents better though... never thought any of ALL's singers could compete with Milo... oh and by the way.. they didn't play Problematic at the Springfield show... you must have scored their set list and read it off of that.. well, they skipped it. you're probably thinking of the World's on Heroin. but everything else you said was right on. the show was great! ebryone neds grammar unless you are sux! Everyone that writes for this site really needs to take an English class to learn how to spell and use grammar. Thou shall not commit adulthood.... Amen to the post below me. ALL are just fucking amazing Drove down from Madison for this show. Had a great time. WLM and SI were outstanding. So was that other band that played. And that guy is correct, the new Someday I record is incredible. He left out the new Wretch record, though, which is also great. someday I's new album is fucking mindblowing. Midnight Hour = Rebel Yell. Dude shut up. They're practically the same band playing the same sounding stuff. all sucks. the descendants rule. I really wanted to go, but they played in PA on the day I was flying back to CA for college. I would have killed to have been able to sing Flag with them, though. ALL puts on a solid set everything I see them, and last time they played, there was a better mix of stuff from all their albums instead of just stuff from their Epitaph releases. WTM rocks hard as well. |
