Hundred Reasons. A British band, and a damn good one at that. Me being British I am lucky enough to have been able to follow the band and the extensive hype they have been getting in the run up to their first LP release ‘Ideas above our station’ Please login or register to post comments. the singer isnt called Larry...he is called Colin... I can't find where to get mp3's by this band anywhere. Care to share with me where they're available? I bleedin' hate this new wave of music in britain its toss... all of the refused worshipers are making shite music "There are too many bands in the UK that sound like bland versions of the better US bands." I never said they were the best the UK had to offer but they are a fuckload more interesting than most. There are too many bands in the UK that sound like bland versions of the better US bands. Somewhat disappointing album from an awesome band. Oh, and the lead singer's name is Colin. Not Larry, Colin. Larry is one of the band's guitarists. Only thing worse than listening to this album - seeing them play live. whats with the british and hyping up all these bands, first they did it to the strokes and now this crappy rip off of atdi. I recently read a copy of NME and I swear to god these guys and rival schools is all the issue talked about. The hype machine is in full effect over seas they really arnt that good. the only reason they have anything of a following is cause the shitty excuse for a magazine kerrang (which i must add is slowly but surely turning rock music into top of the pops) sucks their dicks this is not the best the UK has to offer, not by a long way. Considering how much this band has ben hyped, and the strength of their early EP's, this album is vastly disappointing. I do like this. It's a bit ATD-I and a bit Fugazi but it's the closest we got to a unique sound here in the UK. American people, download a few songs! |
