Her Flyaway Manner / The Atari Star / Re: Reclive in Chicago (2002)Tours Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Veni_Vidi (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on November 12th 2002
It was a cold Friday night at the Fireside Bowl in Chicago. The temperature in the alley wasn't much warmer than the temperature outside, but atleast I was out of the wind. I had come to see Her Flyaway Manner, a Nebraskan band, but they hadn't shown up yet.

The atari star is a fine name... ever heard of the video game system from the early/mid 80's named Atari? Yea thats pretty much where I am assuming the Ataris got their name from... but that doesnt really matter anyway because the Ataris are horrible. Having the name The Atari Star is probably referencing the video game console not the Ataris, the band.-BostonMusicGuy "did this person reall just compare the ataris to the beatles and nirvana?" The five stars are for my white-hot passionate hate for Wuss Emo Rock. did this person reall just compare the ataris to the beatles and nirvana? is this a joke? I can't even believe that a band would dare to call themselves "The Atari Star". Bad review, especiall for the Atari band that filled in forever your nebraskan band, you didn't say one thing about them, all you did was talk about the headliners. then when they came online you still didn't say much about them. | Features
