I've had this 4 song teaser EP in my stereo repeating all morning long with my brother sitting next to me, and my brother's only contribution to my opinion is that "this sounds like Screeching Weasel." I just really liked the fact that it had my name in it. Not to many songs hace Analee in it, so I'd say it was a really good one! what's that "too bad they're on THICK" shite. Billy Spunke is a fucking awesome dude. i'll take sreeching weasel any day over these guys. "analee" was a completely forgettable song. yes, i was disappointed. Sounds like 13 Songs era Fugazi. You were disappointed that you disagreed with someone's opinion. That's a nice life you've built for yourself. "Haha. I didn't realize that link was mandatory. I feel as though I'm in violation of my civic duty." Dilinger Four is cool... the Dillinger Escape Plan is the best!!! This doesnt sound at all like Screeching Weasel or Face to Face. Scott, Dummy Up is an awesome song, you really don't know what you're talking about. Didn't this band play ska? - R The Arrivals are awesome. I'm glad D4 brought them to Minneapolis a couple months back to reintroduce me to their rock. How could I go so long in between listens to Goodbye New World? Damn I'm an idiot. I saw them with dillinger four as well.. and is it just me or do they sound alot more "hardcore" live than on this album? i seen them open for d4. I was pretty interested. Seemed good. I hear Face to Face and Screeching Weasel. Not bad, but not incredible. I'd rather listen to Screeching Weasel or Face to Face. Except it’s not a single, it’s a piece of shit. Wow this cd was good the first time I heard it, when it was called face to face. And it wasn't even good then. Yeah dude that last song will in fact become legendary. People from all over the world will hear that song playing and immediately drink the Jim Jones kool-aid. People will hear how bad music can be and will have to face their fears that there really isn't anything good left in the world. Where do you find these bands? Banging tambourines and handing out pamphlets at the airport? twat it's not an ep, it's a single. that's why it's so short. I dunno..its pretty good. I dont hear the screeching weasel similarity. I do hear a slight hint of d4 thought...this could be the bastard son of d4 and weezer. Wow. Scott's pulling a wussemorock. Dude you know you are just lookin for trouble when you shit on a band as popular as Screeching Weasel. No way that was anything other than calculated. |
