I became interested in looking into Knives Out because I heard they were from Philadelphia, and you know how that whole scene is. Yes, a bunch of Kid Dynamite-ish bands that are fast and furious. Without even hearing a song from these Knives Out fellows, I picked up the “Heartburn” EP and was hoping to have my ass handed to me. Please login or register to post comments. the below comment was me. i think the band knives out formed before the song knives out came into existence. take THAT, gerald ford!!!! Indeed it is. "knives out" is a track on amnesiac Best Philly I have seen in recent years. . . . . . im pretty sure its not. swishhhh. the name I got the comp with Paint It Black, Go For The Throat, Knives Out, and The Curse from Chunksaah. It fucking rocks. agreed, they fucking owned, i got to see them once when they opened for the Souls at the Troc. it sucks ass, that whole crop of Philly bands broke up. Knives Out, the Curse, Go For the Throat. i hope Paint it Black holds out for a little while longer. | Features
