The whole bill was supposed to include the viewfinder. Well showing up fashionably late allowed us to totally miss this band (and with a name like the viewfinder I don't know if it was such a bad thing). I do not download music nor do I care to. I will find out about bands the old fashioned way and go see them, so the guys in the viewfinder missed out tonight because I just wasn't there yet. Please login or register to post comments. This wasn't that bad of a review, I mean, at least the guy knew what it was that he liked and didn't like instead of just bashing it in a million different ways or sucking up to it unabashedly. plus he used a cool new word with 'internerdtastic' food industry.no...lets talk talent. this review sucks. boil that, fuck you very much Total SHIT review.. please don't submit anymore. Fairweather is fucking awsome, how dare you try to compromise their sound by throwing in a bit of your own ill-knowledge of what music really is. the day i would compare fairweather to NFG is the day that this reviewer would gain my respect. fuck off w/ your stereotyping asshole Okay. Fairweather=really freaking good. Fairweather's new EP Alaska=really really freaking good. BIGWIG. BigWig is amazing live. Ive seen them 5 times. 2 of them were in tiny places with like 200 kids packed into a bar, and they were incredible. Never give up a chance to see them For those in the real world...I'm writing from my magical leprechaun land. the guy who reviewed this was way too punk for this show. praise the oi band, but dont praise fairweather, a band who has much talent. bigwig is good live, but thats only because tom petta is a god. So I agree to the general spirit of what the reviewer was saying about Bigwig. A great live show but not the best recordings. Why do people think this disparity exists? They are sort of slowly getting it together to write a new album. Maybe that will mean we'll get a chance to see a live show where they don't play the same 12-15 songs. as good as the songs are and as fun as the sets are. How can they capture the ass-kicking greatness of their shows on cd? No way can you compare i hate myself and Gunmoll. They're two COMPLETELY different bands (with the exception of Mr. Marburger on drums, of course.) Next thing you'll be saying that Gunmoll is way better than Less Than Jake which, although true, is completely irrelevant. Just because Gunmoll's bassist used to play... perhaps saxophone... for Less Than Jake doesn't mean the two are comparable. Feedmynightmare, why don't you just register? I was at this show(you may have seen me, I was wearing a shirt) and I had a blast. All the bands were entertaining with the exception of viewfinder, you didn't miss much there. I was gonna write a review of this show but last time I only reviewed a partial show I got shit for it. Looking back though, I wish I had written it, it would have looked Shakespearian compared to this. I hate myself was better than hwm and gunmoll. I actually think gunmoll has the drummer from i hate myself, but whatever i hate myself is where it's at. I guess anyone who doesn't like shitty bands is an elitist. Hhey now what I wrote sounds nothing like buddyhead and I was stoked about seeing bigwig. I was at this show for the last two bands. Fairweather was pretty good, and Bigwig was alright but not as good as usual. They started out on fire, but then they started jerkin around and talking for 5 minutes between songs, and it just killed the vibe. Heh wtf, Fairweather, BigWig, and Oi punk all at the same show? Heh talk about pissing off 2/3 of the audience no matter how well every band plays. Great Review, this is how it should be... reviews equals opinions, not just "taking back sunday is the latest trend and i want to dance". Crazy lineup.
