Before I start, I just want to say "RIP Adam," who, largely due to heart complications, passed away at and in the direct middle of the show. So...RIP Adam. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
this show was pretty good, one of the first times i've seen the Palladium that full. It was pretty much all Alkaline Trio Fans. I think no one really appreciated how good Reggie really is, because everytime they play it rocks (even tho it follows the same basic format). FATA sounded like pure crap, at least compared with what i was expecting after having heard their cd. All in all a good show, alkline trio definitely played a good set...but they don't have the energy of reggie. I saw this show in Boynton Beach, FL. I missed most of No Motiv due to ticketmaster printing the wrong time on the tickets. From Autumn to Ashes was awful. They're one of my favorite bands but they were not good at all live. I'm not really into Reggie, though they were quite entertaining. I only knew one song, but i enjoyed their set a lot(plus The Get up kids are my favorite band, so I feel obligated to like Reggie a little.) Alkaline Trio was amazing, except even though I bought their new cd the week it came out, I haven't listened to it yet, which made me feel kinda left out when all the kids knew every word to the new songs. All the other songs were great, their power went out twice but they're one of the best live bands I've ever seen. The encore of the new song kinda sucked though, I was expecting '97. oh god, this show was a little too hardcore for me... the guys in a3 all come off as a bunch of street yobs. they pounded out all of their old hits, like "smash the police h.q." and played a broken bones cover, "terrorist", i think, at the end. cool show. Four, actually. yes, retard. hes in the get up kids. that common freakin knowledge. and the fact that you posted it 3 times made you look even more retarded. That concert sounds like it kicks ass. Yes, Reggie (James Dewees) is in the GetUpKids. He is the keyboard player. And good for A3 for having a second guitar. People don't realize how hard it is to get that album-esque sound when you only have one guitar. A lot of parts woulda sounded empty. my friends girlfriends sister told me that reggie from reggie and the full effect is in the get up kids. IS this a lie ? my friends girlfriends sister told me that reggie from reggie and the full effect is in the get up kids. IS this a lie ? my friends girlfriends sister told me that reggie from reggie and the full effect is in the get up kids. IS this a lie ? my friends girlfriends sister told me that reggie from reggie and the full effect is in the get up kids. IS this a lie ? dude you are an idiot. it wasnt reggies drummer who came out during fatas set, it was james dewees himself. if you were such a reggie fan i thought youd know who he is. the hot wtaer music cover of radio is pretty good. but the bleeder cover sucks. Some kid died at the show? Damn, kinda ironic considering coffins were used as stage props. I thought the Get Up Kids sang, "Message from Kathleen". I downloaded it and that's who it said it was. "wont be able to die happy until I've heard Radio and Bleeder played live" Actually I went to the DC show on this tour too, but I thought Reggie was awesome. Definitely best performance of the night. LET'S GET IT OOOOOOOOOOOOOON! "I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the first dude was just kidding." "I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the first dude was just kidding." Hey good review man ..... but one thing Reggie's drummer (Ryan Pope(the get up kids, Reggie)) didn't do the drums for "I'M THE BEST". It was Reggie himself (James Dewees), he was back behind the set like in the good old days of Coalesce. James rocked out with his classic upside down drum stick style! Well anyway ... i will meet you from dinner at 5 today, DONT BE LATE!! ~ Matt("the set list collector) i went to this show in DC last night and it was a let down. reggie just didnt have it going...alk 3 played a boring set..waste of money. Ewww the story below is the worst story I've heard all week! yeah, from what inagreendase told me, he went with this kid he didn't know (friend of a friend) and he said he was a really cool kid. turns out, he had a heart condition and didn't take his medicine that night. FATA happens to be his favorite band, so he goes into the insane pit and feels something wrong with his heart. he gets out and then goes behind the bar, and passes out. someone sees him, tells someone and he gets taken to the hospital. turns out he died 9:30 that night... Last time they came to orlando they played sundials, clavicle and radio, after people kept submitting reviews that they were not playing them. They can and do change the setlist. Just thought I would point that out. But continue to bitch if you have nothing better to do. Sweet review, wish I couldve gotten to hear "10-5-3-4-6-7-2-9-11" or whatever it is live. They never played it in the 5 times I've seen them. Cool, thanks to you posting the setlist i've decided not to go to the Orlando show on Saturday! None of my favorite songs were played. I'll go to see Dave Smalley And Rob from Ann Beretta instead! i give major props just for saying the new no motiv album is due in 2018. that was funny enough someone died in the middle of that show? what? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the first dude was just kidding. *I like the original versions of Bleeder and Radio by Hot Water Music. I think it's cool that Alkaline Trio is doing the covers live, but they shouldn't do them both.* ONe time I jerked off in the back of a Cadillac. I think Alkaline Trio was playing. nice review I like the original versions of Bleeder and Radio by Hot Water Music. I think it's cool that Alkaline Trio is doing the covers live, but they shouldn't do them both. Nice review. It's cool to see someone collected all the setlists, people on this site might get a little angry if you skip out on one band, lol. I wont be able to die happy until I've heard Radio and Bleeder played live i am thinking of going to this tour. but you are telling me AK3 didn't play fucking BLEEDER? that's a travesty. No "She Took Him To The Lake" or "Trouble Breathing" "Growling on a nightly basis smoking = time for a nicotine patch. " great review man...and thanks for putting the setlist fuck alkaline for not playin radio in mn. bastards. and fuck them for having a second guitarist hiding backstage. I will give them the fact that they sound pretty good now, I think Matt's voice has recovered a bit since last time i saw them. |
