| Brand New / Hot Rod Circuit / Eisleylive in Lawrence2003 live show Review by: Kellee See others by this writer Band Website (link) Only registered users can post comments Published on December 2nd 2003
I have tried to see brand new before but my efforts were in vain when the concert sold out before I got to the front of the line. This time I played it safe with the online ticket. Unlike other reviewers on this site, I was happy to see the diversity of the crowd. Abercrombie kids, ten year olds, frat boys, emo kids, parents, artsy fartsy types, etc. It was great. This score is for you, GreenVandal aka Green Lantern... You think Hot Rod Circuit sucks. Go eat a turd. track 2 rather...as track 1 was wanabe "artsy fartsy" ambience. ALL "im sorry, i can not take brand new seriously. they act like the biggest music elitists- while their new album is better, their live show is boring as hell now- they were better back in the day" "im sorry, i can not take brand new seriously. they act like the biggest music elitists- while their new album is better, their live show is boring as hell now- they were better back in the day" Hot Rod Circuit definitely owned this show... And forever who posted wherever below: This band is just completely terrible. im sorry, i can not take brand new seriously. they act like the biggest music elitists- while their new album is better, their live show is boring as hell now- they were better back in the day Because somebody actually wants to know the exact setlist in order from this tour, here it is: Preacher Gone To Texas > Brand New superdude's comments are good, but here's what I would have asked: could mr. anonymous with the proper setlist please post it, cause it'd be really cool if i could see. thanks dude. Preacher Gone To Texas used that same Boondock Saints clip a few years ago on their first demo. the conversation at the beginning of BN is from the movie the boondock saints. It's the father and two son's "pledge" from the end of the movie. I highly recommend you all checking this out if you like action movies. I'm glad that all was forgot after the eretheral music and lights came on not a big brand new fan but i went to the show cause my friend had an extra ticket, now i can say im a fan there were way to many of those abercrombie/frat ppl at the NY show, tightasses didnt even move until bn came on. This review was good, but here's how I would make it better. Brand New is so tatecore. Oh no, not another Brand New review that I am forced to flood with insults...I've almost run out of them... Yeah I'm seeing them tonight at Lupos as well, it should be good I hope they play a nice long set though Seeing them tonight at a good, mid-sized but intimate club (Lupo's)...opening for Rancid. Saw this show in DC. I have the proper set list for this tour, in order, if anybody wants to know. i wanted to see them in toronto, but it sold out...boo-urns |
