I arrived early for this concert sponsored by Volcom. The initial two bands were local bands competing in a so-called competition "Volcom Joust" sort of thing. They were competing for a travel trailer. The bands were Forensik and Jenix. Both bands reminded me of the new wave of awful screamo bands. I sat at the side and waited impatiently for the agony to end. I could tell you something about them if they actually sounded good. I saw Rise Against last year at Warped, they sucked majorlabel ass.Most of the crowd were under 16. creative diferences. I love rise against, but that kind of worries me, becouse this is after signing to a major. Hopefully he was the one that wanted to change the sound of the band. This score is for Rise Against live. so does anyone know why todd left the band? I love Guttermouth. I have met Mark Adkin's before and he was cool as shit. Some of there new stuff sucks. So what? As many line-up changes as they have gone through over the years, they still put on an amazing show. I had no idea so many people hated guttermouth. What the fuck is wrong with you guys? I have to vouch for Guttermouth being a good live band. If not for the music, then the jokes and funny dancing by the lead singer guy. Charismatic fella that guy. you will probably love "eat your face" then. No, I didn't like Gorgeous. Like, 2 songs from Covered With Ants were good, one song from Gusto, maybe 2 from Gorgeous, but overrall... they all suck. last 3 records sucked?! you didn't like gorgeous?!?!?! i agree on covered with ants and gusto but come on, not gorgeous Guttermouth is good, but the last 3 records sucked. Awesome live. I really wish they would bring that show to New York. Rise Against has always been great and I've only seen Guttermouth once (Punk-O-Rama tour in 2001?) but they were awesome then. Catch 22 was never that good and how can Against Me! be your fav band? Theyre good but again not THAT good! come one kids stop hating and just absorb all good music that comes your way.Mwahahah j/k Those bands are both good shite. the new guttermouth ranks up there with the nitro days. it's the process of belief for guttermouth in my opinion. i posted below....now that i thought about it though no guttermouth cd comes close to keasbey nights. what's with the catch 22 - guttermouth debate thats not about which one sucks more now. i say catch 22 since they had one incredible cd and 3(or 2ep's and 2 lp's) that took it balls deep. their live shows were ok but if the crowd wasn't really into it, the show kinda sucked sometimes. guttermouth however put out a few good cds and only about one and a half terrible ones, and put on some great live shows for a long time and, from what i hear, are trying to bring it back these days. in my mind c22 is definately the lesser of the bands. yeah,i heard the new guttermouth. the record store i work at got a promo of it. octopus hairpiece is probably my favorite on the cd. how can u complain about guttermouth having no passion? they just write about stuff that pisses them off and are straightforward about it. at least they have balls to talk shit in public while you just sit at home on your computer all day getting corn stuck in the keyboards. fucker.
