So, he starts the CD out by giving a shout out to his "girl of twenty-two years," his son, his friends (much love, he's got their back forever), and his enemies (much hate, bad shit's in their future). Throw in some double time, four chords, guitar solos akin to the ones you hear leaking out of those practice rooms from fourteen year old kids at Guitar Centers, and you've got a hot steaming pile of shit! I mean White Boy Dash! Seriously, the guy calls himself the "Anti-Dashboard Confessional." He tattooed his son's back. His son's like seven. Jesus H. Chirst! That's going to be one fucked up kid!

Blah blah blah, this CD sucks, the music is bad, blah blah, it sounds like the dude just cannot let go of the fact that 90s California punk music is dead. And yes, there is a song entitled, "Fuckery" on this disc.

This man should never be allowed to touch a musical instrument or a microphone ever again. In fact, I'm wasting too many words in this review. Let's do quick summary.

This shit sucks.

"You may support the troops, but I think it's awesome (and, dare I say, "punk rock" sp: "rawk") to vote for war, then vote against sending troops supplies. I think that's awesome."

..."punk rock" or gutless, either one.

    My Score:

Any vote against Bush is a vote well spent indeed.

I don't particularly like Kerry, but it's a lesser of two evils situation. And it's actually looking up now that Edwards is his running mate.

You guys got it all wrong. All I said was "not to mention he's a conservative punk". Don't write a fucking essay about it.

Personally, I feel that any vote against George Bush helps. If you think George Bush is good, all right. If you support Kerry, all right.

Personally, we all know both are pretty gutless.

You may support the troops, but I think it's awesome (and, dare I say, "punk rock" sp: "rawk") to vote for war, then vote against sending troops supplies. I think that's awesome.

BSD-- you are such a dork with all your rhetoric...'not to mention he's a conservative punk'...what a stupid thing to say...the guy wrote a music review...not a political manifesto

    BSD-

I was going to say something about the politics, but figured that you'd probably pick it up if I left it out.

BSD continues to take himself too seriously---why don't you guys call each other and talk about your political views and leave this page to comment on the music presented?

    My Score:

BSD...I wouldnt really consider myself a "conservative punk"...In fact I dont even really consider myself your stereotypical punk. I'm just your average guy in jeans and a t-shirt, no piercings, no tats. You wouldnt see me on the street and go "hey, that guy's punk"...In fact unless you recognized the band on one of my shirts you probably wouldnt even know I was into punk..But I am, have been for years, there's just something about the energy in the music that gets me and I dont really feel the need to dress up to try to fit in with some group. I believe that we need to think for ourselves, and thats what I do. While I don't agree with everything to the far left that doesnt necessarily mean that I agree with everything to the right. Just because I may be a little more conservative, doesnt make me a conservative punk because I can tell you that I am definitely more liberal than you think. So where does that put me? On the outside of both the Democratic and Republican parties. I agree that this country needs change, but I have no representation, where's my party? Where's my candidate? I've said it before, but my biggest problem with conservative punk, and especially punkvoter is that they bring nothing to the table. Punkvoters sole goal is to get Bush out of office...what then? Its like they dont care who, just as long as its not G.W. What kind of fucking attitude is that. I think that encouraging people to vote is great, but a vote against someone is a vote that is being wasted. Sure the Democrats and the Republicans may have different views, but really they are all the fucking same...A bunch of upper class old men and women who couldn't give a rats ass about us, as long as they get their office. Maybe its a negative outlook, but at least its honest..which is more than I can say about ANY of the candidates. Does anybody REALLY think that if it weren't campaign season that these people would go out of their way to help out some group of "punks"? Hell no they wouldnt! You know damn well that they'd probably turn their head the other way and pretend not to see them...Oh and FUCK YOU!!...for trying to judge me. Who the fuck do you think you are? and on a side note, the Joey Cape Tony Sly split was fucking great.

Aparently this guys been around for a while. I found the dudes bio.

WhiteBoyDash is a guitar player singer/songwriter who out of the early Orange County punk scene founded thrashers "Aversion" (Restless Records) and with three releases in the early 90's and a push from MTV toured the globe with major hardcore punk and metal acts before disbanding in 1996. Then after producing "Wound" (punk/metal/noise performance art) and "New Day Rising" (instrumental O.C. surf-core), WBD fell into busting out noise for movies, surf/videos games/Xtreme sports videos before joining the now infamous "X-Members" (Priority Records) who also featured "Gabby"of "Cadillac Tramps" and "Manic Hispanic" fame on vocals as well as skateboard legend "Ray Bones" on guitar. Critical acclaim and high profile touring (Van's Warp Tour/No Doubt Tour) brought the band to a quick demise still most of their "good time" / "enter at your own risk" shows were legend. WhiteBoyDash then joined band "El Centro" (Finger Records) for two Warp Tours before finally setting out on his own to search and find his all time low and concentrate only on his solo effort. And now with the man released, and the soon to be released full length "Here I come to save the day!", WhiteBoyDash backed by his new band "The Old School Beatdown" prove no doubt that once again hardcore thrash is still a weapon to be used against the current pop noise pollution. Kill your radio! WhiteBoyDash "Here I come to save the day!"

    And here's some mp3's

Here I Go Again (not a cover)

It may not be the best but I think Jesse's review was a little too harsh. I've heard alot worse.
