The revolution will not be televised. Nor will it be shitty rap/rock on Interscope Records. In true white boy fashion, the rap style is ripped straight from that dude from P.O.D. or Papa Roach, only instead of breaking into nü-metal shitty chorus', they break into catchy, shitty pseudo-punk akin to Hoobastank or Lostprophets. The left banner on Punknews.org used to be an ad for their "controversial new video." Homeboys got political for one video and bought ad space on Punknews. Too bad their shitty, formulaic sound doesn't belong here.

When will A&R reps learn about what people really want? We don't want another rap/rock band. We especially don't want them to have a "punk" edge. Just because this type of shit is being played all over the radio doesn't mean that it's GOOD.

Anyway, I better talk about the CD more or you'll all get pissed and whine. There are twelve songs, and fifty total minutes of shit-tastic ball suckage packed into this CD. Boring, generic song titles include: "Thank You (wasn't this an Alanis Morrisette song?)," "New York, NY (Andrew W.K. already did the only metal song about NYC that will ever matter)," and "Wicked Games (not to be confused with Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game")." Way to be original, you fucking hacks.

The back of the CD has a big FBI anti-piracy warning on it. As if anyone would ever want to pirate this. But, if you're curious, and want the CD for free please *do'n'* instant message me at: carringtonxbear, because I definitely *won't* send you the entire album in mp3 format. This is not worth anyone's money.

HHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA classic review! it's a keeper unlike the cd.

    My Score:

I recently heard of/saw these guys.

I thought they were one of the most energetic, original bands I've ever seen. I'm not a big hiphop fan (pretty much limited to Sage Francis, Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, and Eminem, really), but this really was jivin' with me for some reason.

This is not one of my favorite albums, but it's definitely a good occasional listen, and I do enjoy it.

This is not your typical Limp Bizkit rap-rock, it's quite a bit more intense (not to mention relevant both artistically and socially) than that.

What kind of dumbass reviews the song titles? This record metastasizes the last twenty five years of hard rock as well as any. Melodies, riffs, power chords and hooks. Perfect ... no. But a bunch of the tracks are way damn strong (World Keeps Spinning, Shellshocked, New York NY, Memories in F Minor). Andrew WK is a useless twat. Jam your skateboard up your ass and suck my hairy rballs, you fucking poser!! Solid recording.

The point I was trying to make about them being formed before other bands was the fact you tried to make them look like they were posers or just copying other band (you clearly stated this in your article) "In true white boy fashion, the rap style is ripped straight from that dude from P.O.D. or Papa Roach". And what the hell does "white boy fashion" mean?

"This goes to all of you that believe this band is some rip off band that copies P.O.D, or Papa Roach. If you morons looked into the band a little bit and gave them a chance maybe you could write a fair review without putting all that garbage language in it. They were formed FAR before there was any rap-rock group that you see in the spottlight today. You can't just classify music as "rap" or "punk". It is what it is, listen to it and don't label it in your mind. These guys have worked hard to get where they are and deserve credit for that. So before you go flaming on about how much you hate rap..yadayadayada, listen to the CD and look into the band a little bit, these guys have real talent. I would like the first staff member who reviewed it to respond to this. And please dont fill it with cussing and garbage."

but they barely even sound like 3/11 if you actually listen to their CD's. - and this goes to that idiots that was making fun of their song "scottsdale". As you probly dont know, scottsdale is a area in arizona. It is on the richer side of town. If you give the song a chance and listen to the lyrics, hes basically ranting about how much he hates people that are a part of that trend to wear your pants low, and talk like a moron I.E-"home skillet". Their main problem is breaking that barrier between their music and that stupid culture.
