On Bury Your Dead’s bio on their Victory Records space, it states: “This record helped the band as a whole exorcise a lot of demons. Each song tells a different story, and most of them are a big middle finger to someone or something.” That is a rather bold statement considering the music at hand. What the fuck is this shit supposed to be? Minor Threat is hardcore. Bury Your Dead is not. great fucking album, whoever says Bury your FUCKING Dead sucks can fuck off...any singer who gets bashed in the skull with a guitar, a TUNING KNOBE stuck in his head and still plays 11 songs, and gets 12 staples in his head after the show is fucking hardcore. so love it or dont comment. that kid who said there are "better hardcore bands on victory" you can fuck off. go to trustkill.com and check those bands, Throwdown, Terror, It dies today? they can eat you alive. and ever heard of Converge and remembering never? Thats the good stuff. =) i think most of you fucks are missing the point of this genre of hxc..this genre isnt out to impress and the main reason they make this style is so you will go in the pit and go fucking nuts..i mean isnt that wut hxc is? who the fuck cares bout song titles its wut is coming out of the amps..so if u dont like then go listen to something else and get the fuck over yourself you either like it or you dont...you dont need to try and act all bad ass and tough saying they suck cuz no one gives a flying fuck...keep it coming guys i loved the album....xXx This album is awful and so fucking un-interesting. I'm just getting around to listening to this now so I doubt anyone will respond -- but does anyone else get the impression they'd make a much better rock band (a la Eighteen Visions) than a metalcore act? lame cd. theyre just a crappy version of hatebreed. and hatebreeds last 2 albums were awesome dooshbag Way better than the last two Hatebreed CD's?? Perserverance owns everything else in this type of music. this band rocks i love emo. taking back sunday and bury your dead own. i love the lyrics, makes me want to play acoustic and write a poem about my ex. As far as being generic goes, yea...it is, but this CD is good. way better than both the past two Hatebreed CDs. Gotta have at least a couple bands playing good breakdowntastic toughguy music. If you're going to listen to music like this, it might as well be these guys.
