On a tip from Gatsbys American Dream, Rocketstar Recordings swiftly picked up Seattle's This Providence, whose debut, Our Worlds Divorce, happens to be a cohesive collection of pop/rock songs with solid vocals, clever drumming, and more than enough bells and whistles to keep things interesting.

This CD is really good, it's one of the few 'emo' discs I've actually listened to more than five times. Tracks 3, 6, and 10 are definitely the clinchers here, but everything is really good after awhile. this score is for the actual city of providence. Well, you know you like this, i claim to like saetia and converge too, but we all got soft spots for this kind of stuff, and i know 90% of you still like new found glory. The guitarists little brother is in my friend's band and the first time I payed them a listen I merely brushed them off as The Starting Line. I was so wrong. They make some quality music. can someone post a new review of The Bronx's White Drugs? I find this band's music intriguing and their unwavering faith in God, admirable. This release truly is suprisingly good. It's hard to pin down just why, but between well composed songs, and emotion that's not wrapped up in a clothing catalog, these guys just sound better than so many others trying to do the same thing. Yeah. you are turning this place into ap.net. You should be fired |
