Where do I begin with this? Audience of One is former Saosin frontman Anthony Green's first band. Essentially a three-piece of barely-outta-high school Philadelphians, they managed to put together a very diverse album. They switch seamlessly between smooth songs such as opener "Show Your Teeth" to the more gut-wrenching, minute-and-a-half long "The Icarus Ambition" almost as well as Green transitions between his singing and screaming. The latter does indeed strongly dominate the album.

this album is good the person that wrote tht is stupid of course when they recorded it sounded cheap cuz it was there 1st album and alll there songs are bad ass and u can gets these off limewire and they dnt sound like early 90's music they sound like music from today and its a best selling album also i recommend u this album to n e one Does anybody know where you can find this album? here's a quick story, take it for what it's worth. Saoshit were playing a show at the Chance in poughkeepsie ny. they came out and were doing their thing. now, i certainly don't like what they do, but i can't knock their effort. the screamer/singer girly man was mocking the crowd and taking shots at the other band the entire set. towards the end he's flailing around like a putz and gets tangled in his mic cord and one of the guitar cords next thing you know, he's on his back. hahahah. the crowds laughter was louder than the music. fucking hilarious. i didnt really even think this would get posted actually, which is why i didnt really check it all that much. no its not like high and driving was saosin that band with the vocals that were so high and nasally that it kind of sounded like coheed and cambira? and they really sucked? "If you're going to namedrop those three bands in this review, it had damn well better back it up." If you're going to namedrop those three bands in this review, it had damn well better back it up. I remember back in high school there was this shitty christian metal band that used to play all of the battle of the band things. They were horribly bad, and every song was about their audience. His name was god or dog or something. "The one problem I do have with this release is not the poor production values..." |
