Sum 41Sake Bombs And Happy Endings DVD (2003)Island Records Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: lew_1987 (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on March 18th 2005
This is actually Sum 41's 2nd DVD release. So in the short time that this band have had major success, they have had 2 DVDs out (excluding the double pack and unofficial ones). So what's so different from the last DVD then?

Black Flag's DVD is just of the show and that's it....they need a full retrospective....with videos of shows from every era of the band....with interviews and shit. And with regards to your comment about Flipper? Go kill yourself BSD, Flipper live would blow the shit out of any band today....nuff said. "Fuck this shit.......we have this, yet we can't get together footage from great older bands to put onto dvd? Here's to hoping "someday" we'll get high quality retrospective DVDs for the original Misfits, The Minutemen (We Jam Econo is great, hope it comes to DVD), Black Flag, Flipper, Bad Brains. Fuck.....why hasn't anybody put out a remastered DVD version of "Decline...."?" score is for max greevey Fuck this shit.......we have this, yet we can't get together footage from great older bands to put onto dvd? Their drummer's decent, and they aren't Good Charlotte. I guess that's enough for a 2/10. What is this doing on punknews.org? I'm sure their buddy Paris Hilton could pay for a www.pretendrunk.com website Score is for Japanese Steak Houses. pop-punkers: I hereby order you to worship at the altar of Petrograd! the fact that these guys released two dvd's has no effect on whether or not your fave bands have released dvds...so get over it...its not as if sum 41 didnt release this then the money used to make it would go into a big pool that allows for other bands to make dvds They did say that "Chuck" would sound like Metallica but with the usual anthemic choruses or something. Not that it did. On Metal Sludge these guys said they were going to start sounding like old school Metallica...I wish the brits spell patronizing with an 's', assbag. Too many bands release dvds too early in their careers. If it was up to me, dvds would only be comissioned as retrospectives chalk full of live footage from the hay days and a doco. That way we could avoid a lot of crap. Sum 41 is good at what they do, I guess... but bands like Strung Out have way more respect and have yet to release a DVD... These guys are way more tolerable than most. They know how to write a catchy tune or two. Better than Pennywise at least. nuck if you buck Score is for none of us putting a score, but all saying "Score is for..." Score is for you needlessly putting a capital letter in the middle of a sentence. "Thank you for clearing up who Pavarotti is.... Score is for you being patronising" Thank you for clearing up who Pavarotti is.... Score is for you being patronising Yeah, man, fuck the haters. Fuck the haters, this band is good at what they do A sub-sub-sub-sub-sub par Green Day. Half hour of Power was the best record, all the rest were too mainstream oriented. | Features
