The Pavers are the best band you’ve never heard of.

I really enjoy this album. Great choice. I love this album. The Pavers fucking suck! Simply put. Hey duders, i just wanted to tell you guys that Scotts newest band BonesawRomance is still alive and kicking. They have a record finished and are looking for a label to put it out. Once that happens theyll be hitting the road. >In my humble opinion APOCALYPSE HOBOKEN was the most overlooked band of the past decade....seriously check them out. Yikes, I just listened to 3 mp3's, and there's no chance that i'm missing anything - except the last 5 minutes of my life. If you like'em...cool - but don't gimme this best band in the world crap - jeez. In my humble opinion APOCALYPSE HOBOKEN was the most overlooked band of the past decade....seriously check them out. Scott Reynolds stuff is awesome. Local 1500 is a great album, as is Allroy's Revenge, Allroy Saves, Return to the Island of No Return ect. ect. ect. I saw these guys 3 years ago and they were okay, but I remember reading Scotts rants and that interview, and he comes off as kind of a dick. This album is wonderful. It's a true shame real musicians like Scott can't do what they do best without having to work a shitty dishwashing job/etc to feed their family. good review, except for the first friggen line. trite. hackneyed. commonplace. boring. "I passionately LOVE this band" i have an All tape that scott sang on, biggest waste of 3 bucks ever. Whoa I had no idea about that. Scott needs a new website damn. I just might email him. Last I heard, Scott was singing for a metal/hardcore project titled "Bonesaw Romance", but I think that fell through...they had a myspace for a while, but recently it got all "x-ed out". There website used to be www.thepavers.com but it got taken off. And last time I checked scott was working on a solo project with him playing all the instruments and handling vocal duties as well. I forget when it was due to come out but you can always email him and ask him. Oh and also I would pick up return to the island of no return if only to check out scotts artwork. Cool stuff. Oh and the greg ginn (black flag) guest guitar solo in fierce apple slays. Yeah, I suppose the "buy the band's stuff" might be a little too much, but I passionately LOVE this band, and I've always been so disappointed that they were so overlooked. Really amazing stuff these guys put out. I have had Return to the island of no return for a looong time and I was so dissapointed to not see it reviewed anywhere. I actually don't have this album but after reading the review I suppose I'll pick it up. "Fierce Apple!!!" 1 to 10 is a genius song. I like the word scatological, and what it brings to the table. I hate sayings that are glossy sounding. It's like when I bought that "video punkumentary". stevejonestherealbones 12 Excellent interview with Scott Reynolds here : "It's like this slick saying that'd be in some trendy music magazine" I HATE when people tell something is the best (blank) I've never heard of. It's like this slick saying that'd be in some trendy music magazine. Maybe the review was great, but after that line I couldn't read anymore. We will never forget. God bless satan. Wow, I really liked Scott's vocals in ALL but I never even bothered to see if he was in any other bands. |
