Welcome Tampa, FL's New Bruises as the newest member to the extensive family of Hot Water Music followers (see: Latterman, Lock and Key, etc.). However, the influence is light here, as New Bruises certainly play a brand of emotion-tinged, mid-to-fast-paced punk rock, but provide the same type of upbeat positivity as Latterman musically, with lyrical themes tending to center around social commentary and personal growth.

Not bad. Pretty cool stuff, they ARE high energy! they're playing tallahassee, fl on sat 25. get rad check it out at the inn between! This CD is awesome. I like the production it still has an energy to it that a lot of records are missong right now. Plus it has members from mid carson july which just makes it better! yeah the drummer played in the holy mountain early on. some of the other guys played in mid carson july. This band sound like Dag Nasty, good stuff, am i right in thinking this contains ex members of The Holy Mountain? | Features
