Philadelphia's One Dead Three Wounded play a relatively refreshing brand of metalcore that seems to draw lightly from a number of places to deliver a sound that slightly lacks in cohesiveness but is well-done nonetheless. There's a little bit of Botch's angularity and the facetiousness and dynamics of early Every Time I Die, with many moments leaning much closer to straight up, Darkest Hour-style metal than the 'core' in the term.

Good stuff! "hardly metalcore, but still really fuckin good" I saw these kids a few years back playing at a waterpark. They put on a fun show, I bought the album back then and still listen to it occasionally. hardly metalcore, but still really fuckin good metalcore again...same shitt, different name....get tha fuck out metalheads This band is good as hell, especially live. Best heavy album of the year thus far. 2 bonus tracks are tight. word great band i remeber when this came out first time around |
