On Hell Is For Heroes' Transmit Disrupt, we find a recent Burning Heart signing that could've just as easily fit on the Lujo Records roster. What this means is impressively dense post-hardcore with a soft Fugazi influence spread conservatively throughout that requires repeated listening but rewards sufficiently.

well it did in britain yeh im positive it did i thought this came out last year? Am I the only one who hears a On the Might of Princes vibe from these guys? Score is for this band being ex-symposium, which i truly hope somebody on here remembers. Quiet Riot: When they played a shpw with Feeder, all you could hear was the drums. They actually made my friend throw up. meh. Trebley guitars and high pitched singing. Not really my thing. Great album. Neon Handshake was better, but hey. I've had this album since very early 2005, when it was released in the UK - I didn't think there'd ever be a US release (still none for Neon Handshake...). Praying for a US tour, but not getting my hopes. I read that they the movie ended just because they ran out of film. It sounds shoddy, which it may have been at the time, but it fits perfectly with the turmoil of war and death. The band name is not a reference to the "Modern Life is War" (As far as I'm aware, HIFH have been around longer than MLIF). is this band's name a modern life is war reference, or is it a phrase that has been around and i just never heard it til it was in that MLIW song title? Is the song "Quite Riot" about the band of the same name? Neon Handshake was miles better. Symposium were shit until they briefly went metal. Hell Is For Heroes will never never live up to the wonder that was Symposium. good to see some brits on here!! good album all round. Hell is for Hawthorne Heights. |
