| Take Action Tour 2006live in Seattle2006 live show Review by: Derek See others by this writer Only registered users can post comments Published on May 9th 2006
I'm going to start this off by saying that The Showbox in Seattle has got to have the shittiest service I've seen in a long time. The show started at 7:30 with the doors supposed to have been opened at 7:00...but they were fifteen minutes late. Not only that, they took over a half an hour to get everyone into the show. I've never had to wait that long once the doors open. Ever.

Why is this site suddenly publishing so many glowing reviews of terrible, terrible things that lack any enduring cultural or human resonance? "Chiodos is one of those bands.... like Eighteen Visions and Bleeding Through, less then a year and they'll be forgotten." well, can't you understand why people are a bit confused...i mean...it was the very first thing you talked about in your review. if i had quit reading after the first paragraph i would've just assumed you stood outside all night and demanded your money back for the 'poor sevice.' Chiodos is incredibly talented. "Oh well, I guess it wasn't that long. How about you focus on the actual review instead of trying to bash me? If it pissed people off, whatever, get over it and read the article for what it was actually posted for." Chiodos had an autograph signing? What a waste of good paper. Oh well, I guess it wasn't that long. How about you focus on the actual review instead of trying to bash me? If it pissed people off, whatever, get over it and read the article for what it was actually posted for. Seriously dude, you make it sound like it was an awful lot of time. I once had to wait 3 hours outside until the doors opened. Granted that was only once and due to a lot of issues that happened with the venue that night, but still the time you waited wasn't that long. "I've never had to wait that long once the doors open. Ever. " damn that sucks that chiodos was fluff my boner, i was hoping that was a real band. they aren't really that good but kids go off for them. i guess they outsold the other bands almost every night on the armor for sleep/ boys night out tour you poor baby, 15 whole minutes you had to wait? shows open late for a wide variety or reasons, most of which usually have more to do with the bands than with the staff. i've been to shows where i had to wait outside in the freezing rain for an hour after doors before they opened. you just deal with it Chiodos is one of those bands.... like Eighteen Visions and Bleeding Through, less then a year and they'll be forgotten. Chiodos was listed as "Fluff my Boner" on the scheldule. It's insane how big with the scene kids Chiodos is becoming. They were the secret band at the Bamboozle on Sunday. Not Brand New; not Glassjaw; not Angels & Airwaves; not the Starting Line (all rumors I heard); fucking Chiodos. The autograph signing they did on Saturday lasted two hours, too. Matchbook Romance makes me suicidal ! Oh my god - a 30 minute wait to see the show? You poor thing! You may have had to socialize with other concert goers during that time - or did you go get sushi next door? This is a funny tour. Matchbook Romance makes me suicidal ! |
