A year removed from the less than well-received Love in a Fascist Brothel, the Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower are back again. This, their new three-song EP, Inri, is not much of a step in the right direction either.

"the less than well-received Love in a Fascist Brothel" Wait. I meant 03** I'm kinda crunk. My bad I danced w the singer@ my graduation party in 06 & this makes me ashamed of that. this band probably don't know what "inri" means and thought it stands for something that means the person this word is attached to is dead. Which are??? I've lost interest. Why the hell is Punknews not covering the issues discussed at www.vandalscandal.com?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?! Dissertation, Honey and If You Cut Us, We Bleed are really good but the rest of their stuff, not so much. Didn't these guys break up? I only have their Necktie split 7" and Necktie Party kicked their asses. I still do it sometimes, but it depends on the individual album. I mean, this was bad, but not bad enough to make me go out of my way to try and embarass them. Anchors, when you used to give albums a low rating, you would also provide a humourous link in the spot where band website links would otherwise appear. What gives? I liked their first record too, which is why I was so surprised that this was so bad. I haven't heard this one, but "Love in the Fascist Brothel" was total shit. First record is awesome, though. I loved this bands first album, but I haven't heard anything since then. Is it really as bad as Mr. Anchors is making it out to be? |
