By now, Caliban have it down to an absolute science. Through an almost 10-year career, they’ve released the same exact album more five times. Kudos to them, I suppose, for being able to conduct their business that way and still get labels to release it and people to buy it. To their credit, they were one of the forebearers to the European-influenced metalcore that’s so prevalent today, but to their lack thereof, they’re still not able to inject any semblance of originality into what they’ve done so many times before.

califart..calif art...calishit...this band sucks ass like a pimp with a golden dick I downloaded one of their CD's in 04/05. Then I realized they sounded ass monkeys eating ass flavored bananas that smelt like ass. Assiban. Caliass. Cassliban. Ham flavored soup with beef noodles. the first album had alot of black metal influences indeed the first couple of caliban releases were good. they were alot more evil sounding, with alot of black metal influence almost, and alot less of that terrible singing. i used to like them alot, but i gave up on them awhile ago. They are on every fuckin metalcore/hardcore tour here...the supporting bands are always good or decent...but with this shit as headliner? They just push the ticket price | Features
