The measuring stick to which all other albums are compared. It is the punk-rock equivalent to "Rumors" and "Sgt. Pepper". There isn't a more complete, enthralling, energizing, and expressive album in existence in the punk genre. NOFX, and Fat Mike, establish themselves as intelligent beyond the more tongue-in-cheek recording of, "Ribbed" and even the stellar, "White Trash, Two Heebs, and A Bean". This is an album that can make the listener think - and that is an accomplishment itself when you consider the average listener. I can't even imagine how many punk bands were/are founded based on hearing this masterpiece...

    My Score:

One of the greatest punk albums of all time. I have to ask what the 3 people were thinking when they gave this half a star, didn't anyone tell you that depriving yourself of oxygen too long produces bad consequences, like shitty reviews.

    My Score:

This is the foundation for about half of all modern punk. It's a masterpiece and is my favorite NOFX album. That said, it's a wee bit over rated. It's not "the best punk album of all time" or anything like that. Though it might make top 10...maybe...

    My Score:

without a doubt nofx's best albumn. From the sounds of el hefe singing at the begging of linoleum to the hidden tracks of fat mike trying to hit the "How" in perfect government. It's a brilliant show of musicianship. I know every lyric, every note, every bass tab, to the whole cd. It is truely a punk masterpiece. Thanks nofx.

    My Score:

In Punk In Drublic c'è rabbia (Lory Meyers), ribellione contro i pregiudizi (Don't Call Me White) e contro il governo U.S.A. (A Perfect Government). La batteria più veloce del mondo -quella di Erik Sandin- è travolgente in Punk Guy, mentre l'assolo di chitarra di Eric Melvin in The Happy Guy lascia senza fiato. Da sbellicarsi dalle risate la Ghost Track. Bravi NOFX!!

This really is a perfect CD Every song is good. All the tracks fit in very well together and go along perfect and just to make this CD even more unique it has lyrical and musical diversity.

Perfect Goverment IS A COVER, the song wasnt written by NOFX - This album is great, one of my first along with Bad Religions Starnger than Fiction

    My Score:

I put only 9 because perfection doesn't exists , but Punk in Drublic ( or Drunk in Public , nice pun ) is really fuckin close to it . From Linoleum to Scavenger Type , you just don't have any resting time ,m excepted for the funniest song of the masterpiece : My Heart Is Yearning . This album just kicks ass , i read that someone said that Rancid paved the way for NOFX , but this guy should know that NOFX are REALLY older than Rancid ( read the booklet of Byosplit III ) , it's not I don't like Rancid , but NOFX has just this songwriting that just makes each song like a rollercoaster to me , especially The Quass and Jeff wears Birckenstocks . NOFX has the cleverness , intensity , speed and talent to beat any other punk band , if you don't believe me , go to a NOFX gig , and fasten your seat belt....

This album really lets you understand just how talented these guys are. The lyrics are amazing. "Prfect Government" is by far one of the best descriptions of the government these days. "HOW DiD THE CaT GET SO FaT..."

Great album, but you must not listen to very much punk... I can list about a hundred greater albums.

I admit this album is quite good, but whatever shithead wrote this album makes rancid look like junk is the biggest moron i've ever heard. Rancid paved the way for some of these punks in today's music. Not saying nofx didn't do this on their own though. They are truly amazing

nofx are punk punk to the book punk to the bone
anyone who says that punk is dead just has to listen to this album, or so long, or white trash, or the decline and wise up.
cos as long as theres a nofx, punk will never die.
