The Indecision Alarm is an absolute delight. Proving you can mix aspects from Hot Water Music (gruff, practically identical twin vocal delivery) and Avail (melodic hardcore overtones, occasionally speedy tempos) and yet sound virtually nothing like Smoke or Fire, this Swedish quartet plow through eight surprisingly fluid, versatile tunes in a consistently enjoyable 19 minutes.

The variety really is the strength of The Indecision Alarm. They'll exhibit that aforementioned speed sometimes to great execution ("Time for the Big Guns, Baby," "Coup de Grace," "The Frail Strength of One"), all the while knowing just the right place for that backing, urgent vocal. If not flying along at that fast tempo, they'll rear back to more mid-paced porch anthems, like the more rhythmic, accessible Leatherface channeling of "Through the Bandages" or "Above Us All" and the absolutely excellent chorus of "Treadmill."

The Indecision Alarm's debut EP is easily one of the best for straight up punk rock you can find around. Granted, experience in past bands (Union Square, Adhesive, Straitjacket Generation, Anguish) has probably helped a lot, but if they sound this good so early on who knows what's next.

    Fucking awesome stuff! Lets hope this band has a lifespan as long as Adhesive and gives us some more goodies down the road. Treadmill is such a superb song!

    All in all a great release by these lovely swedes. I truly hope and believe we can expect even better stuff from them in a not so distant future. Almost destined to end up on a bigger label. However, many said that with Adhesive too.

    True! I think the sound of TIA roams nicely between From left to Right and We got the Beat a some Hot Water Music spices. Who cares, it's fucking great music!

    Simply amazing. I never thought Adhesive's "from left to right" would ever be topped, but TIA's upcoming album might just prove me wrong.

    "Treadmill" has got to be one of the most amazing songs ever.

    All I can say is YEAH!! This shit is in their blood - and that's just how these tunes sound - passionate and addictive.
    Totally agrees with the review; this band has got a great future!

    i hope one day i fall asleep and wake up to see every punk band following this path. i miss old hot water. i miss the inspiration. this helps a little.

    Truly one of last years most shining gems!
    Killer hooks, killer melodies, great vocals (imagine a swedish version of Chuck from HWM) high energy rocking hardcorepunk with some of the better lyrics around.
    Fans of Adhesive (yeah yeah...), HWM and Propagandhi should really go and get this. Word!
