Whenever I talk to people about this band, I find that most people compare them to the already famous Horrorpops. For the purpose of this review and so you (the reader) will be able to get an idea of this band since most people haven’t heard them, I shall draw comparisons to the Horrorpops as well.

worst. review. ever. (this week, anyway). So... it isn't bad enough that the drummer from Jersey (R.I.P.) now plays in Alexisonfire, but also Sean McNab now plays in a second rate rockabilly band?!?! Guys, come on! First off, it'd be nice if next time you spend a little more time reviewing the actual album rather than comparing it to the horrorpops...but since that comparison compelled me to check this band out, I can't complain too much. So what exactly would be "Anchors-type shit"? So what exactly would be "Anchors-type shit"? This is at least punk rock, unlike all the emo / metal / arty-farty anchors-type snobbish bullshit on this website. This review blows. This is like, Infinite lame. This is at least punk rock, unlike all the emo / metal / arty-farty anchors-type snobbish bullshit on this website. all of this horror-punk crap needs to die out already. It has become incredibly stale over the past thirty years. I'll have to give this album yet another try. I've tried listening to it like 5 times now and it just makes me want to Horrorpops. I would love to see em live though Score is for the comment below me. Funniest shit ive seen on this site. chief wooden-head would not be happy haha the person below me is right i completely forgot about hellcat when i was writing this i apologize Sarah Blackwood neither plays nor sings on this album; she's just a temporary live replacement for her sister, Jen "Hellcat" Blackwood, (the singer/guitarist on this album) who is currently pregnant. That said The Creepshow is fantastic. |
