"All Nofx songs sound the same blah blah blah, they're just as stupid as Blink blah blah blah, why won't they just fucking die blah blah blah". Whatever. 'Ribbed' goes like this."Green Corn" is fast. "Moron Brothers" is fast and funny, about two assholes who fuck everyone over. "Shower Days" is funny. He only wan't to take a bath 2 times a week. Now that they mentioned it, I don't smell too fresh myself. "Food, Sex, and Ewe" is a ska song with a cool, 80's metal intro. "Just the Flu" is fast. "El Lay" is about Los Angeles, and people seem to like this song a lot. "New Boobs" is great. Fast, and about a chick who finnaly gets the boob job she wants, only then she causes dudes to squirt all over themselves before she can even get any action.HA! "Cheese/Where's My Slice" is fast and funny in a whiny sort of way. "Together on the Sand" sounds like a lounge tune, and he's talking about fingerin' some chick on the beach. "Nowhere" is also fast. "Brain Constipation" is kinda slow and metalish. "Gonoherpasyphilaids" is about some dude who got a new STD from some funky ho, and it's fast too. "I Don't Want You Around" isn't fast, but it isn't slow either, and it makes fun of the Grateful Dead. "The Malachi Crunch" is at the end of the record and it's really fast, with cool lyrics. NOFX has two really good guitar players, and really fast drummer, and a not-so-good bass player/singer. They are funny too. Ha funny, most of the reviews on this site are mediocre at best wtf is this review? i could fucking fart a better review. but this record kicks ass!!! Great album, shithouse review. yeah love this cd its got a really raw feeling compared to most of the others that came after. this album is actually pretty awesome!!!! This album is so fat and i think nofx is the best punk band !!! I love all songs on this album and man, ur review was kinda weak. We all agree in that, well doesn't matter what you say about the album, it's only an opinion. But man i can't get how u say fat mike isn't good bass player. I agree with the one who said listen to shower days and I add listen the bass line on i dont want you around and well listen go to jiihootabs and see all the fuckin lines he does. If you dont have fucking idea of what a bass sounds like at least dont tell anything about it. Man, that is one crappy review...but one awesome album. Probably my favourite of all NOFX's. Malachi Crunch - what a song...amazing. fuck the one who wrote this review Who's the bummer who did this rewiew ? Who's the bummer who did this rewiew ? Ok for me this is the CD that started to sound like you could listen too where as the ones before are all kinda poor sound quality and they.... well, they blow, hay dont get me wrong I'm one of there biggest fans I even travelled from england to new zealand to see them once. and fuck pop punk like blink 182, sum 41 and any other "punk" bands that are on MTV!! fuck all you little fucks bitching and moaning about how punk is dead and what-not!! It's very much alive and kicking wiht bands such as NOFX, ther Distillers, Rancid, Anti-flag and I could go on and on. So shut the fuck up about how punk is dead! If I see you in th epit your getting messed up, so stop bitching because no one gives a shit, I'm out... good album Great album, even if mike's singing isn't at its best Its sought of hard to say which is NOFX's best album in my opinion. I'd go with White Trash-then this. Its a no brainer on their worst though. What the fuck is Liberal Animaton? I understand why it pains Fat Mike to listen to it, it is beyond horrible and it always makes me laugh when the cooler-than-thous say how much it rox and how much their new stuff sux ass. Is there anyone out their who believes this? This album is pretty much the best, what they've ever put out. The newer albums are a bit to soft. Nothing against them, I like them as ever, but I miss the sound of ribbed and S&M airlines pretty much haha, nice review. definitely in the Nofx spirit. anyway, this is one of my favorite nofx albums. raw and crude, how punk should be. The fist have of this album is great. But Towards the end it gets realy hard to listen to. well since everyone seems to make fun of NOFX i think they rock, and i think fat mike (which mind you is all for parental guidence stickers if you dont believe me go to nofx.org and in the interviews one of them has him talking in agreence for it) i like thier songs that dont involve Lesbians or transexualism, i think id be highly offended if i was one of them and this guy pokes fun at it - Rob alright, i'm sorry for saying the review is bad. i didn't realize you were trying to make it fit the album. however, just because i haven't heard all the NOFX albums, doesn't mean I'm not interested in punk and doesn't mean i shouldn't be on this site. you think you've heard every punk album? If you have, then you need something else to do. This probably Nofx at their best. Their best album in my opinion "I Don't Want You Around" is ska on crack. And it is fast, it just doesn't have distorted punk guitar. Listen to that bass and try to tell me its not fast. GAWD I wish they'd play it live (I love this song) Hahaha, awesome review... Still a little resentful toward those who criticized the JtB review for not being descriptive enough, I suppose... Damn, I said pretty much exactly what Fathead already did. I don't know what you guys are talking about.... I think that review fit the album perfectly. If you really need someone to explain what NOFX sound like to you then I suggest contemplating whether or not you really belong on punknews.org am i writing to a bunch of half-wit, brainless asses here. the review, like lots of Nofx's work, was meant to be funny, rude and short. If you need a review to tell you what a NOFX album sounds like, I highly suggest you re-evaluate your web-browsing.- fathead holy shit, that review was awful. thank you for telling me there are a lot of fast songs, that tells me a little less than if you said "there are words on the album". I think somoene else should review it so i can have some kind of idea what the album's like. rightclique is all over these nofx reviews. Another great album. A lot of people like nofx, and a lot of people hate them. Whichever it is, it's your thing. They're not gods gift to comedy, but I usually do laugh a few times when i see them. I love the album, it's a classic. But Fat Mike a bad bassplayer?!? That's bullshit. Listen to Showerdays and tell me he can't play bass, fool. considering that they're a novelty comedy band they still make a lot of shitty music.. i'd like them a lot better without all the stupid immature blink 182 style jokes. obviously they were doing stupid immature jokes long before blink 182, but the jokes are just as bad or worse. i like nofx more serious songs, or at least the ones that are't incredibly stupid (my vagina, to name one).. they have a good sound, but truthfully, at least half of their songs can't be called punk rock. and pretty much every band on fat wreckc chords sucks anyway. most of them aren't even punk, but since most people on this site have lost site of what punk really is, i guess thats just the way it goes... Heh heh. Great, crude review. Blunt. I likes. Radi-cool album. Classic NOFX shite. |

The last decent nofx record period. After this they turned to complete shit. But on this there are some good less commercial sounding stuff on it. Hints of the past, but hints of the future which looked bleak.
