Bedouin Soundclashlive in Victoria (2007)Dine Alone Records Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: DarrenMcLeod (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on September 11th 2007
Though writing a lengthy-yet-irrelevant introduction that works as a commentary on Bedouin Soundclash’s rising popularity in their native country is tempting, the fact that I did exactly that in my review of their latest album seems to make that completely unnecessary. Instead, it allows me to move right into a poorly pieced together recollection of the events that unfolded the night I saw them in Victoria, BC. How does that sound?

"I Wanna Be Sedated" has devolved to a guiter hero reference? SIgh. whats wrong with kids today? When these guys toured the U.K they took The King Blues as support. I saw the show in Newcastle and The King Blues completely upstaged them, not just at this show - my friends in other towns tell me - but at pretty much every show on the tour. Anyone who hasn't heard the King Blues, for your own good do so. need to see this band again Score is for "St. Andrews." need to see these guys, brilliant new cd. So far, cd of the year-oldpunker- I can't believe I skipped watching their set when they opened for Flogging Molly. Bedouin is straight quality. good gravy, i can't wait to see them next month. too bad they completely forget about their first album when they play shows Score is for Ska in 2007 and Stand By Me. | Features
