On Friday the 26th, I attended the Bouncing Souls "True Believers" Tour in Chicago. On this tour they are playing with Madcap, One Man Army, Flogging Molly, and obviously Bouncing Souls. I got to the show late and missed both Madcap and One Man Army, sorry people, but I had to drive almost 4 hours to get to the show, and I thought it started later than it did. From what I heard both bands played awsome sets that were very energetic and fun. I was disappointed, I have heard some good things about both, but oh well. They're a talented band and that's a fact that no one can argue. I'm tired of everyone treated them like the scum of the music world. They should be on top. di went there and it was good. There wasn't mush of a pit though. How did the Bouncing Souls lead to No Doubt. That whole No Doubt thing better have been a joke. I only saw bouncing Souls live once in my life. I was standing next to this chick with pink hair who looked exactly like Gwen Stefani. I really have a lot of respect for Gwen Stefani. She has worked hard to further her musical career and I don't think she gets the credit she deserves. Her band, No Doubt is very talented but people don't seem to notice the amount of effort Gwen puts into it. People don't seem to care. You all should really be ashamed of yourselves. man that shit was jesusfied! I can't go to this tour, I'm in Ireland, and two of my favorite bands in the world right now (Bouncing Souls and Flogging Molly) are touring together. This sucks. At least I get to see the Pogues in a month.. i think that the show was Beererific,wacktakular,and orgasmic Maybe the bassist hates the Dead Kennedys and was buying another copy to burn in a bonfire later that night. yo, i was there and it was great. I Came a little late, i missed only alittle of Madcap. I was a fun show and i thought that all the bands kicked ass. too bad you missed 1 man army. Flogging Molly is the shit. Bouncing Souls rock also. Madcap = poo poo. i can't believe i missed this show. i suck.- fathead Hey gneius, maybe those cds weren't for himself. More importantly, who cares??? Jesus, don't get your panties in a bunch over who owns what cd. Spend your time more wisely. In every comment Larry Lawrence every posts, he has to mention AFI. What the fuck is your problem? Well, I am sure that this was an amazing show, but I just wanted to comment on what Bouncing Souls' bassist bought at the record store. I would have figured that he would have already owned all the Misfits and Dead Kennedy's albums. Just thought it was weird someone who I am sure has an amazing punk collection is missing something by such essential bands (especially the Kennedys since they dont even have that many albums). Oh well. I would've given this show a 10 I'm sure, if it hadn't have been sold out when I got there. I drove three hours up to Chicago for nothing but some fucking good pizza (not all was lost i guess). I am sure AFI had something to do with this, but I'm not sure how. It's all a damn conspiracy. Oh well. Fuck AFI and their loser fans for locking my girlfriend and I out of the metro. The the Fuck are Flogging Molly? Yesterday I was the True Believers tour in Portland. All of the bands fucking tore it up. I'm a pretty big fan of all of those bands except Flogging Molly. Don't get me wrong I enjoy that "style" of music but all it is is fast folk music. They played a good set though. The Souls fucking rocked like no other. Truely a great time!!! Here we go, here we go, here we go!!!! Too bad you missed One Man Army bro, they fucking rock. |
