The title of Schoolyard Heroes’ latest album is Abominations, and it is quite fitting. I must say I enjoy the moxy of this band, for they claim to want to destroy the much-maligned style-over-substance genre of nü-emo (holy daring dashes Batman!). How do they set about performing such a task? Why, with the oh-so original combination of pseudo-goth, punk and metal! Wait a minute…

This band kinda blows. I just saw this band with AWS, and it was ALMOST bareable. The best thing they had going for them was a sweet guitarist and a faulty microphone. mechanical man was one sweet ass song. but these suck. that chorus is really annoying awesome live band that cover is fucking hideous "Archangel is not stoked for this review." Archangel is not stoked for this review. Schoolyard Heroes stole my baby and made it worship satan before feeding it the flesh of other humans. i've heard two songs, and if she is the best part of this band, im defintiely not gonig to pursue anymore. that album cover is hilariously funny i've heard two songs, and if she is the best part of this band, im defintiely not gonig to pursue anymore.
