Some things in life no one will ever understand... LIKE WHY NO ONE EVER WROTE A REVIEW AT THIS SITE ON THIS CLASSIC ALBUM ... Totally unbelievable... NOFX' best album ever is totally ignored by the punknews.org community? How can this be, is this real, why? This or Punk in Drublic...? hmmm...dunno, but this is in my humble opinionion "Pretty damn good". Favourite songs being 'You're bleeding' (why i bought the album in the first place), 'Stickin' in my eye' and 'the bag'...if anyone reads this and has any suggestion for what albums to buy next, go ahead please :) my favorit album so far, yeah thats all i got to say, the wole fucking album is great. moste nofx songs sound the same. moste nofx albums sound the same, probubbubley, because they make so fucking menny. but thats a guess. this album is by far thair best. because "bob" is the shit. the heaviest NOFX album (in terms of subject matter) is Heavy Petting Zoo. This is a great album and a perfect bridge between 'Ribbed' and 'Punk In Drublic'. Bob alone makes this CD worthy of a 10. This is the best album ever. The mix between punk, ska and comedy is well balanced, and the riffs are very snappy. I was told that 'Punk in Drublic' was the best NOFX album, but that's not true. This is a sharper album - a Best Buy. just because you put the word "fucking" inbetween bands dosent actaully make them bad, grow up asshole. NO SHIT FAG!! fuck all of you assholes who say that nofx r not punk and all that fucking shit! This is a kick ass album one of there best. For some reason Fat Mike's vocals sound really awesome on this album to me. Great guitar too. "Your Bleeding", "Soul doubt", and "She's Gone" are my favorite songs. this is the best nofx album i've ever heard, maybe tied with heavy petting zoo. anyway, with that said, "the bag" is by far the best song on the album. i think it's one of the most emotional songs i've ever heard during that part with the two separate guitar parts and he's talking about "give me something..." good music. Theres something really wierd and spooky about this album..........I dunno why, but its just like spooky in some way, I think i'm nuts. that cd totally rocks.. anyway... i love nofx and i will always love them.. "Punky" are you kidding me? I hope so. Punk in Drublic is one of NOFX's softest. There is not one hard song on the cd (well maybe one) It is an amazing cd but not hard. White trash has a couple hard songs but i love it and it is my fav. cd. Dude, I really don't know about this album being their "Darkest." Their older stuff is darker, and some of the stuff off Heavy Petting Zoo is pretty dark too. However, in analyzing the "darkness" of this album, TooDrunkToFuck calls "I Wanna Be Your Baby" a funny song. It's funny?? It's not funny at all! It's a really dark song. It's all about how he wants to crawl back inside and be all reclusive... it's really dark. It's probably the most personal song Fat Mike ever wrote. How can you call it funny? I don't know too many people without this Cd. Perhaps that is why no one reviewed it? love this cd =) im gonna be the only one and say that my fav NOFX album would be, so long and thanks for all the shoes, it was my first NOFX album and i still listen to it after like 5 years. liberal animation is harder, you're right, i listened to it once, at a friend's place... i thought it sucked and forced myself to ignore it... i do think the lyrics are funny... still i don't think it was worth my money to buy the cd, and worth the money of an empty tape... the hardest and best nofx album so far is animal liberation. No he is right, its boring nofx.. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-oldpunker- Dude, you're thinking of Pennywise. NOFX has a pretty good song. they didnt have to record it 3205423 times and make a million fucking albums of it though. "story of Johnny Appelseed who plants a seed in every town he visits, which is actually about Erik Melvin, what you already knew ofcourse" White trash is defenitely the best nofx-album, but so long kicks ass too :) Don't forget 'Ribbed' Bill. If you don't have it definately check it out. Sounds a lot like 'White Trash...', also with a lot of Nofx classics. yeah, so this is by far my favorite nofx cd and has been for the ages. recommended to anyone who likes nofx and/or likes punk rock. the next closest album (in my opinion anyway) is Heavy Petting Zoo. why would the guy a couple of spots below me write in seven comments putting down th band? So you don't like NOFX, so what. Why put a bunch of negative comments in a row trying to pass it off as if seven different people posted them (each posted within about two minutes of the previous one). Jackass. hands down NOFX's best album i told you i suck at doin reviews... don't waste your money on fascist propaganda like this. what's sad is people take nofx and fat mike seriously when he talks about politics. his music is aimed at prepubescent yet he wants people to take him seriously. he's a a real mouthful of frozen cum. Jesus fucking Christ this is a terrible album! Just kidding. I was being "sarcastical." well no one's reviewed albums that are a lot more punk than this generic piece of mall punk shit so a complaint in the review is not only unwarranted, it's stupid. Yeah, this is a good album. Give it a listen. Umm, I don't really like giving album's scores, it takes me a long time to see where I would put it in comparison with other albums that I have rated. And I don't remember what scores I give to other one...and blah blah blah. Whatever. 1) First of all, I have to disagree when you say that Punk In Drublic and White Trash has the right balance of funny songs to serious songs and PUTV doesn't? I figure that the only tracks on Punk In Drublic that are "funny" are My Heart Is Yearning and Jeff Wears Birkenstocks; only 2 out of 18 tracks. On the other hand, White Trash has 6 out of its 13 tracks that are "funny" - Straight Edge, Liza And Louise, Please Play This Song On The Radio, I Wanna Be Your Baby, Johnny Appleseed, and Buggley Eyes. PUTV has 6 out of its 14 tracks that are "funny" - And Now For Something Completely Similar, What's The Matter With Parents Today?, Louise, Pharmacist's Daughter, My Vagina, and Theme From A NOFX Album. By the way, my definition of "funny" is that the song is just straight up comedy - there is no message or main point in the song. For example, I wouldn't really call a song like Thank God It's Monday 100% "funny" because Fat Mike does have something to say there, he isn't just trying to make you laugh. this is in no way their hardest album.....if you've been into NOFX a long time, then you know that Liberal Animation is their hardest album by far. cool review, actually tells people what the cd is about for once. as for the cd its one of my favorite nofx albulms, funny as shit too. also think the production needs mentioning as its extremely clear for such an old record. One of the best NOFX mateial is on this album, but it is not their hardest album...Is sXe cover hard? or Johnny Appleseed?Or please play this song...? fuckin great album. i wouldn't say it's the best though, Punk in Drublic edges it out juuuust slightly. fat mike's lesbo references are so lame. is he 35 or 13? I agree with this being their best, but it's definately not their darkest. Ribbed would be a close second for best in my books. its good, but my god, are you a publicist for the band or what!?!? Definately the best NOFX album, but darkest? It has some pretty light subject matter. I thought Heavy Petting Zoo was a little more serious. I agree, this is one of NOFX's best albums.
