I walked into Irving Plaza on Friday night about halfway through Frenzal Rhomb's set. I'm not really a huge fan of this band, but they are good live. I've seen them once before at the Warped Tour in 98. Last night wasn't much different, kinda boring, but if your a fan of this band you probably would have liked it much more than I did. It's pretty much the same deal for me with the Mad Caddies, I like them, but not enough to go buy their stuff. However, they are a talented band , once again, if your a big fan of this band you would've been more excited than i was. Please login or register to post comments. worst review ever. if you're gonna review a show, you have to talk about all the bands that play. duh. (and i mean substantively). in other news, will nofx ever play 'freedom like a shopping cart' live? Frank Grimes as in Frank Grimes from the Simpsons? Grimey? I thought you were dead. Best episode ever.(said in the tone of the comic shop owner) I saw the show a few nights later in RI. NOFX didn't play hobophobic and now i feel ripped off! oh well. |
