i'm in my late 20's and love 90's punk... or the style of punk inspired by the punk bands of the late 70's to early 80's. I generally like pop-punk and hardcore. I am a Joey Cape fanatic, his music has made me a better person. I don't really know him, but I love the person I've got to know through his songs. Fat Mike of NOFX did more to influence who I am as a person than anyone that isn't my parent. That's good and bad... I picked up on the tolerance and empathy, but also picked up on abusing drugs in an endless search for something meaningful... all I found was sadness, but it's not like he didn't warn me. Even though he's an arrogant know-it-all hypocrite I still love Fatty... after all, I'm also an arrogant know-it-all hypocrite, and I'm not nearly as talented/rich as Mike. I listen to lots of other music that might appeal to hipster/scenester types more than NOFX/Lagwagon... but the fact is, none of it speaks to me like the music of Randall and Michael.
