Matt Embree of Rx Bandits talks about labels, new album, more

Matt Embree of Rx Bandits recently participated in an interview for rxbandits.com. In it, Matt talks about the band's shift from Drive-Thru to their own MDB and also mentions a new project.

Matt is quite critical of most labels:

The record labels basically run the industry like a bank or credit card company who keep people in debt, sort of as there indentured servants.

and is also concerned about people stealing music:

The face of the matter is if you download music from an independent artist, you are taking anywhere between 5 and 8 dollars from that artist. If you steal it from an artist on a major label, you're taking like 10 cents to a dollar, and the principle is the same, but in the end, I think that what I'm trying to say is the majority of the financial hurt goes on.
