Bad Religion posts first new track from "New Maps of Hell"

With their digital single due out next Tuesday, Bad Religion has posted the first track from their upcoming full length. The song, "Honest Goodbye" will appear on the record, titled New Maps of Hell which is due out July 10, 2007.

Co-written by founding members Brett Gurewitz and Greg Graffin, "Honest Goodbye" is inspired by the life and
crimes of Perry Smith, the murderer made famous by Truman Capote's classic novel "In Cold Blood." "The song
questions how a man with seemingly gentle and artistic sensibilities comes to commit brutally heinous crimes,"
explains Gurewitz. "It's an emotional song to me that delves into the humanity of forgiveness and retribution."
