Bloc Party to go on hiatus

The British indie rock band Bloc Party will go on an indefinite hiatus after finishing up this summer's touring schedule and releasing a new EP. This will be the second hiatus in the band's history. They last released Four in 2012. Russell Lissack had this to say to Postmedia News:

Definitely after we finish the festivals in the summer we'll be taking some time off. At least six months, maybe a year maybe two years, it's hard to say. Once we start taking time off people start doing their own thing. So once people start doing things then you'll start naturally extending how long we spend apart.
