First of all I just want to thank everyone for their support. I would just like to make it clear to you all that in no way did I leave this band. I was told by Daryl through management not to come back. This is due mostly to the fact that the relationship between Daryl and I has slowly been deteriorating over the last couple of years. We simply have lost faith in each other. These things happen and with Daryl it seems to be more often than not. I wish things could have ended differently being that I stood by his side for so many years in and out of hospitals on tour but I guess I just couldnt handle it emotionally anymore. That much I am guilty of. With that being said, once again I would like to thank everyone for their support and words of kindness. Please know that I am fine and it is time for me to move on and put this all behind me.No word from the band on this departure at the moment. Head Automatica released Popaganda earlier this year.

Words can not describe my hatred of dancepunk.

And before anyone calls me on it, VCR isn't dancepunk, they're "funcore".

In an actual related comment....this is pretty fucked up. It seems for the past few years, since Glassjaw's "split," Daryl has just been severing all kinds of ties. I don't know what's going on, but I wonder how much of it has to do with the fact that he isn't straight edge anymore and if substances are affecting his personal life.

These guys are lame. Gang of Four however? Not so lame. So not all "dancepunk" is crap. And before the scene police come and arrest me, yes I know Gang of Four are post-punk, but they def. have the "dance" elements to them.

One of the consistantly great live bands out there right now. My favorite DKM stuff was with Mike McColgan anyway, so it made perfect sense that the Street Dogs would be just as good, if not better and to me, I'm right. I see them whenever I can, can't wait for the new album

Ok, someone please explain dancepunk to me. I see the term thrown around to describe bands like Head Automatica, whereas I'd just call them shit. I always thought dancepunk was more like !!! or old Liars.

head automatica sucks anyway. popaganda is crap. they were only good with dan the automator. daryl, get back to glassjaw. oh wait you're too good for hardcore anymore.
